About USMC's Wounded Warrior Regiment
The United States Marine Corps' greatest assets are our Marines; as such taking care of our wounded, ill, and injured and their families is a responsibility the Corps takes seriously. The Wounded Warrior Regiment (WWR) provides and facilitates assistance to WII Marines, sailors, attached to or in support of Marines units, and their family members, throughout the phases of recovery.
The WWR assists active, reserve and veteran Marines. The Regimental Headquarters element, located in Quantico, VA, commands the operations of two Wounded Warrior Battalions located at Camp Pendleton, California and Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, and multiple detachments in locations around the globe.
